Biography

Attorney Jackson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She is a Managing Partner of Rafidi Jackson Ltd. Attorney Jackson received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. During her college tenure, Attorney Jackson was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society. While attending Michigan State, Attorney Jackson became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she served as the Delta Zeta Chapter secretary. Throughout her college years, Attorney Jackson volunteered her time with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Michigan Capitol Region.

In 2010, Attorney Jackson received her Juris Doctor from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Attorney Jackson served as the Vice President of the Sixty Plus, Inc. Elder Law Clinic where she provided legal assistance to clients age 60 and older. Attorney Jackson also participated in the Moot Court Competition and was a general member of the Black Law Students Association during her time in law school.

After law school, Attorney Jackson relocated to Ohio and she was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio. In 2011, Attorney Jackson opened her law practice which she operated with offices in Youngstown and Girard. In 2018, Attorney Jackson merged her practice with her husband, Attorney Fred J. Rafidi to form Rafidi Jackson, Ltd. to continue serving the families and businesses of the Mahoning Valley.

Attorney Jackson concentrates her practice in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate Administration. Attorney Jackson handles wills, estates, and guardianships, as well as step-parent adoptions and private or foster-care adoptions. Attorney Jackson also volunteers her time to represent indigent persons seeking divorces through Community Legal Aid’s Volunteer Legal Services Program and also serves as a Guardian ad Litem as an advocate for children. Attorney Jackson handles matters in Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana Counties.

Attorney Jackson is a member of the Trumbull County Bar Association and the Mahoning County Bar Association. Chantal serves as the Mock Trial Co-Chair for the Ohio Mock Trial Competition for the Trumbull County District.

Attorney Jackson resides in Niles with her husband, Attorney Rafidi, and their daughter Savannah.
